My friends and I went to this hotel as a quick place to stay while going to the local Ren Faire and it served our needs perfectly, the hotel is currently under renovations, so things may look a little worse for ware on the outside but the room was clean and the service was great. the person who checked us in was very accommodating and friendly and was able to direct us to a very nice pizza place that gives discounts to the hotel guests. I look forward to seeing how the hotel renovations go, as next year we intend to book this hotel again.
I came up for Thanksgiving and the staff and service were excellent! Accommodating and responsive. The rooms were spacious and clean. This is a minor detail (but means a lot to me) but the water pressure in the shower was excellent. 10/10 would stay here again!
Location was very secluded and peaceful! Had a overnight stay and it was very pleasant. Didn't have to deal with much noise, the room seemed noise isolated which was nice! Only heard people in the hallway just a little. Perfect getaway location for traveling, especially for the prices! The style is very retro but thats ok! Bed/room was clean and cozy. Customer service was perfect, they definitely go above and beyond for their guests! Absolutely will rebook with my fiance here again. Having the lovely farm cats around was definitely a nice bonus too! If i had to change anything, i would add a small hot breakfast bar. I feel like if the pool was restored as well, you guys would get all my money! Lol. Thanks again, will be returning!
We had a great stay at this hotel! They have immaculately cleaned their original 80s tiled bathrooms and used them as a blueprint for a nicely executed vintage aesthetic, down to the adorable retro mini fridge. The bed was comfy, the room was quiet, the manager was very helpful and nice, and there are a number of food and bar options a 10 minute drive away. There are some side buildings that initially look a little creepy, but it was quickly clear the owners are renovating the buildings and grounds - which are huge and will just take some time. We will definitely be staying here again next year when we return to the area!
